How does skin rejuvenation work?

There are two main types of skin rejuvenation treatment. The first involves removing dead or tired skin cells, such as skin peels, microdermabrasion , microneedling , pigmentation and SkinCeutical Facial treatments. These treatments disrupt the top layer of skin cells and encourage the skin to revitalise and become stronger and healthier.

The second type of skin rejuvenation we use is R.F. Skin tightening and LED Light Therapy which allows the skin to appear plumper and fuller by reducing the appearance of wrinkles or loss of facial volume.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a deeply effective treatment for renewing a fresh, young-looking glow to your skin. It’s one of the simplest and least disruptive skin treatments to have and is ideal even for people with sensitive skin. Microdermabrasion isn’t suitable for darker skin tones as they are more prone to pigmentation.

Microneedling

Microneedling involves using small needles to create tiny punctures in the skin, which encourages the body to begin a healing response. Microneedling can be used to tackle wrinkles, scarring and pigmentation.

As your skin repairs itself, collagen and elastin are produced creating an almost immediate plumping effect. Microneedling is a great treatment for you if you have darker skin because it doesn’t carry the risk of causing pigmentation.

Skin Boosters

Skin booster is an umbrella term used to describe injections of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and amino acids into the skin. They have become so popular in recent years as they are non-invasive, carry minimal risks and have minimal downtime. 

Skin boosters are suitable for anyone wanting to improve their skin. As long as you are above 18, there are no other age restrictions when it comes to skin boosters. They don't alter or augment your face; they merely add hydration to it. Those who suffer from aged, dehydrated, corse skin may see the most significant results. . This is because it’s at this age that the skin starts to lose its collagen content, and a loss in collagen automatically means loss of firmness, density, the elasticity of the skin and the appearance of the first wrinkles.
